Job Title: Sales Engineer- Marlow Industries Japan
(bilingual in Japanese required)
Job Duties/Functions:
-
Identify and capture sales opportunities for thermoelectric applications
-
Qualify
sales potential of leads and set priorities
-
Responsible for total account management of major customers
-
Provide
technical sales support determining possible application of company product
to customer requirements
-
Heavy
customer interface providing:
immediate response to generic questions
initial assessment of potential TEC applications
selection and quote for standard TEC modules
identify customer requirements & specification for design of TEC modules
follow-up technical support on specific applications
Work on analysis/design/modeling prior to sales process and support the
sales process
-
Maintain analysis in the areas of marketing and product trends, potential
customers, competitor's pricing and product base
-
Maintain updated account profile in CRM system
-
Prepare
and give presentations sales forecasts & strategies as well as marketing
needs
-
Maximize GPM on all new and current business and ensure GPM targets are
achieved
-
Assist
with identification of new products 1-3 years out
Job
Requirements:
-
College
degree, BS in Engineering discipline
-
Knowledge of fundamentals of heat transfer and basic electrical theory a
plus
-
Knowledge of electronic packaging, product development and customer
applications a plus
-
Experience calling on executive management of large multi-national companies
-
Excellent follow through on projects and ability to work with little
supervision
-
Comfortable in a fast paced environment with multiple, changing priorities
-
Computer skills (word processor, spreadsheet, CRM, internet)
-
Bilingual in Chinese and English

Product Engineer
Job Duties/Function:
-
Create, document and develop new optimized products and
processes that are both evolutionary and revolutionary improvements to MI's
technological capability and products.

Support both current and new markets.
Job Requirements
-
BS or
higher technical degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical
-
5+ years applicable experience in thermal management and/or thermoelectric
assemblies.
-
Proven
track record of developing/creating new products using thermal modeling
tools, using existing and new technology resources, and through close work
with customers
-
Knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies.
-
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex thermal
and thermoelectric-related problems and research solutions for solutions in
the public domain as well as creating/developing innovative solutions.
-
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to the
organization.
-
Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Email, internet access.
-
Demonstrated ability to lead
people and achieve results through others.
-
