Marlow Industries was founded in 1973 by Raymond Marlow to initially serve the unique and demanding requirements of the defense sector. We now serve the broad range of cooling, heating and temperature stabilization requirements of the defense, space, photonics, telecom, medical, industrial and consumer markets. We provide a full range of thermoelectric solutions from individual thermoelectric coolers, to subsystems to final end products. 1991 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award

At Marlow Industries, everything begins and ends with QUALITY. As a quality based company, Marlow was the first and only thermoelectric company to have ever won the coveted Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (1991). We have been recognized by Industry Week with the Top 10 Best Plant Award (1993) and as one of America's Top 25 Growing small manufacturers in 1999. We were ISO 9001 certified in 1998 and became the first and currently only thermoelectric company to be ISO 9000 version 2000 certified (one of the first 100 companies in North America to pass the new 2000 standard).

In 2004, Marlow Industries was acquired by II-VI Incorporated. Recognized in the technical community for their materials excellence and expertise in optics, II-VI boosted Marlow's competitive advantage in the marketplace.

In March 2007, Marlow signed a partnership agreement with Guangdong Fuxin Electronic Technology Company (Fuxin), based in Guangdong Province, China. Marlow and Fuxin will cooperate to develop new low cost, high performance, quality solutions to expand the size of today’s global thermoelectric market.
