Marlow Industries develops power generation applications for small electronics, such as commercial, cordless mosquito traps.
Mosquito traps utilize a propane tank to release warm CO2, a known attractant for mosquitoes, into the local atmosphere. A small fan creates suction, drawing nearby mosquitoes into a net where they suffocate and die. The device can run independent of outside electrical power as long as it is supplied with a propane tank.
Marlow Industries manufactures the thermoelectric power generation devices to operate the fan on the mosquito catcher. The TEC captures waste heat from the propane burner and converts it to electrical power.
