Process Engineer

Primary Function
Develop and document methods, equipment, and processes that are improvements to MI’s thermoelectric assembly capability. This activity supports both current and new products from updating current capability to new development. Participate in product design reviews to provide manufacturability feedback early in the design process. Ownership of product manufacturing after an Alpha builds hand-off through Beta build. Act as “floor liaison” linking design engineering, manufacturing operations and Vietnam manufacturing operations. Ownership of technology and product transfers from the Dallas site to the Vietnam site. Help to meet department objectives for cost savings, process and quality improvement, capacity and capability expansion. Maintain current processes in focus areas to specifications set by process procedures and product specifications. Interact with suppliers to qualify new materials for processes. Participation in weekly systems staff meetings to understand current and upcoming assembly efforts and requirements.

Experience:

  • 10+ years applicable in process development or engineering services.
  • Professional experience to include using furnaces for assembly or densification of materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new processes or materials and introduce into a manufacturing setting.
  • Working knowledge of phase equilibrium with the interpretation and application in solder systems.
  • Experience developing tools or fixtures used in assembly of products.
  • General Electrical Knowledge.
  • Experience interpreting analytical results and applying knowledge gained for process development.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to the organization
  • Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access.
Account Manager

Basic Function of the Job:
Overall responsibility for the strategy, direction and management of the North America – Central Area to achieve market leadership and grow the company to achieve the 5 year profitable CAGR. Responsibilities include account development, profit/revenue performance and growth, customer satisfaction and management, quality of services, program and product delivery, and problem resolution. Using in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of customer application requirements, promote the sale of company products and services resulting in customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
College degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Industrial Sciences


Experience:

  • Proven sales/engineering experience calling on all levels of decision makers
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiating skills
  • Proven track record of business opportunity identification & development
  • Proven skills in strategic planning, business and market development, market research, to drive profitable business growth.
  • Experience with anticipating problems, problem analysis and resolution at the strategic and functional levels.
  • Experience with CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Manufacturing Production Planner

Job Description

Basic Function of the Job:

Generate and maintain production schedules using the MRP System. Manage production schedules and materials for high mix/low volume manufacturing environment. Factory supports rapid production of prototype builds, as well as, specialized custom designs. This position requires the planner to work with a cross functional team including engineers, customer service reps, buyers, manufacturing personnel and finance .

Education:

  • Associates Degree required; BA/BS degree preferred
  • APICS certification a plus

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in production scheduling & planning, and use of MRP software (Glovia preferred)
  • Experience working with and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Experience with management and control of inventories.
